Permit Fly Fishing
Permit are seasonally available in the Tampa Bay area. Most are on the small side, but hey…a permit on fly is a permit on fly! They are not a species that you can spend an entire day on chasing, but when you’re in the area, it’s worth a quick look to see if they are there.
Tackle Requirements:
- Rods: 6-8 weight
- Reels: Large arbor saltwater reel with good drag system
- Lines: Floating
